Summer Recreation Soccer, Age 4-Gr 4Summer RecreationJoin us for an exciting Youth Soccer Program running for 4 Wednesdays! Open to kids ages 4 through 4th grade, this program will focus on developing soccer skills in a fun and supportive environment. It's a great opportunity for kids to learn the game, improve their skills, and have fun with friends! Each team will be led by high school soccer team members, with parent coaches needed to help assist. Parent coaches will receive a free registration for their child. Summer T-BallSummer RecreationThe summer T-Ball program will be a great time for kids to learn the basic skills of throwing, catching, fielding, running bases, and hitting a ball. The program is for boys and girls, ages 4-6, who have not completed kindergarten. Emphasis will be placed on having fun and getting exercise. Each team will be led by a high school student with parent coaches needed to assist. Parent Coaches who volunteer to help receive free registration for their child. In case of rain the program will be cancelled that evening. Please register by May 26 to guarantee a t-shirt.Summer 2026 -

July 13-16 Lessons are Monday through Thursday Semi Private Lessons-50 minutes per day. 3:1 student:teacher ratio. Lessons are for children 5 and older.Private Lessons-25 minutes per day. 1:1 student:teacher ratio. Lessons are for children 4 and older. Swim lessons offered through Community Education are designed to teach participants lifelong swimming skills and provide training in basic water safety and how to help a swimmer in distress. In addition to the skills outlined under each level, swim lesson courses are intended to provide a positive learning experience so participants can feel comfortable and enjoy the water safely. Community Education swimming lessons are progressive, with each level building on skills, technique and endurance acquired as the levels advance.Please do not sign up for more than one level per child until they have passed their current level. Our instructors recommend time between lessons to build endurance and confidence in new skills. All swimmers must shower before entering the pool or come pre showered. No lotion, sunscreen, bugspray, hair products, etc. *Must wear a swim cap. Caps can be purchased at Coborn's in Melrose. Parents are invited to watch in the bleachers if they would like to.
