The adult and pediatric CPR/AED course equips students to recognize and care for cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements, this does not cover those who work in a health care setting. Upon successful completion a valid 2 year-digital certificate for Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED is issued. Physical completion cards are an additional $10 (due the night of class). This in-person course prepares youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers caring for children and infants from mealtime to bedtime, playing and promoting positive behavior and emergency response. Please bring a lunch, a snack, and a water bottle to class. Students receive a handbook, activities, and a babysitting certificate.

The ARC First Aid class covers topics in First Aid Basics like finding the problem and effectively treating by ARC guidelines using personal protective equipment. This course also covers many topics pertaining to illness and injuries whether it’s a health condition or the result of an accident. This course, when paired with the Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED course, meets OSHA workplace and other regulatory requirements. A valid email is required.
