ECFE "Stop and Play" for families with children birth to 5 Stop into the Melrose Preschool Room for some parent/child activities! Come in at anytime between 4:30 & 6:00 pm and stay as long as you and your child would like. There will be a variety of play and creative activities for you to interact with your child and snacks will be provided. Registration is required to ensure we have enough supplies for each family. Please enter through door 4.

Children of all ages have a lot in common and they learn a lot from each other! This group will have a variety of parent-child activities to do together when you arrive. After a brief circle time, parents will move into a discussion group to unpack common parenting topics while children remain with an early childhood teacher for a marvelous time of learning. Fees for the program are based on the annual gross income of your household. We appreciate your honesty as our program relies on the fees we receive from participants. Financial assistance is available and no one will be denied participation due to inability to pay.

Join Ms. Jennifer at the Melrose City Center to listen to stories, do small/large motor activities, and create a craft to take home to share with your family! This is for children ages 1 to 5 and their family. This is a free event that is sponsored by the Melrose Area Schools ECFE program. Please register through Melrose Community Education by the Monday before storytime on Tuesday.
