Enjoy working on volleyball skills in a fun atmosphere! All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. This program essential life-lessons such as teamwork and sportsmanship. Registrations received after June 8 will not include a T-shirt.

First Aid and Safety Trained Kids (F.A.S.T.) is a 4 hour course for 7-10 year olds. This course helps prepare children for staying safe at and away from home. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, stranger, and internet safety. Students will receive a book, handouts and a home first aid kit as part of the class.

This camp will be put on by the Melrose Rosettes! This is a great introduction to dance team for any dancers who have dreams of being on the Melrose Rosettes in the future. This camp will include a warm up routine, stretching, dance technique, choreography, and some fun team bonding activities. Dancers will have the opportunity to dance with the Melrose Rosettes in the Melrose Riverfest Parade. Dancers should wear clothing they feel comfortable moving and grooving in. Learn how to recall vivid memories, analyze events and people that shaped who you are, and bring your story to life. Your handout, included in the class fee, will have an outline to help you organize and write your memoir step-by-step. Printing/publishing options will also discussed. The instructor LeeAnne Krusemark is a former journalist, current author and editor, and a nationwide Professor of Publishing at higher learning institutions, including Harvard Adult Education. After making their own batch, participants will enjoy tasting their creations —and the best part? They’ll take home their homemade ice cream to share with family and friends.

This baseball program for boys and girls will focus on baseball skills, teamwork and having fun. For children going into grades 1-3 in 2026-27. We are in need of parents for each team to help assist the student coach. Parents who volunteer to coach, receive free registration for their child. In case of rain the program will be cancelled that evening. Please register by May 23 to guarantee a t-shirt.

Take your cake decorating skills to the next level! In this class, you’ll explore advanced frosting techniques, decorative borders, and creating beautiful flowers. You’ll also learn how to stack cakes and decorate your own stacked cake to take home and show off your new skills.

Learn how to effectively prevent and respond to water emergencies with the American Red Cross lifeguard training. Our courses are designed to arm you with the skills and knowledge to prepare you for a variety of scenarios in and around the water. With our lifeguard training, you will learn how quick response times and effective preparation are vital to being a lifeguard while also understanding the crucial elements in helping to prevent drownings and injuries. Students will do coursework online and will do one day of classroom & Pool testing. Students must be 15 years old by the last day of class. Class will be held in Middle School Room 314 and the Pool. Please bring swim suits and towels.

Children of all ages have a lot in common and they learn a lot from each other! This group will have a variety of parent-child activities to do together when you arrive. After a brief circle time, parents will move into a discussion group to unpack common parenting topics while children remain with an early childhood teacher for a marvelous time of learning. Fees for the program are based on the annual gross income of your household. We appreciate your honesty as our program relies on the fees we receive from participants. Financial assistance is available and no one will be denied participation due to inability to pay.

In Minecraft Game Art Studio, students will transform their love of the game into creative skills by designing player skins, themed texture packs, simple UI icons, and 2D sprites that can be exported and used at home. Along the way, they’ll learn the fundamentals of pixel art—like readability, color palettes, and tiling—while gaining beginner-friendly file skills to make their art usable beyond camp.
